Albela House opened in 2022 and has 20 rooms on Shivam Marg, off Jogiwara Road. It is a multi-storey building with balconies that look out on pine and deodar forest, and the photos show simple rooms with balcony tables, plus a couple of high-up valley views. The hotel has an on-site cafe, laundry, luggage storage and a tour and taxi desk, and listings say pets are allowed for an extra charge.

Reviewers praise the mountain views and friendly staff, but it is built on a slope with many stairs, so it is best suited to people comfortable with climbing, and one reviewer found the rooms small and the food choices limited. Parking and check-in times differ between sites, so check by phone before you come. It is a good-value stay for travellers with a dog or those who want a quiet outlook over the trees.
