La Riqueza Koala Inn opened in 2024 on Jogiwara Road, in a modern multi-storey building among deodar trees. Listings describe mountain-view rooms with balconies, and the room types include Deluxe and Superior rooms with balconies, a Family Room with a queen and two single beds, and a Quadruple Room that sleeps four. There is a restaurant, a coffee shop, a lobby bar and a roof terrace that catches the sunset over the hills.

Free parking, car-charging facilities, laundry and a 24-hour front desk make it practical for road-trippers. It is close to the Ayurvedic centre, a spa and several Tibetan craft shops on the road, and about 15 minutes on foot from the Dalai Lama Temple. Booking sites disagree on the exact room count and check-in time, so confirm both when you book. It is a good fit for families and groups.
