About Bhagsu
Bhagsu offers a slower pace than McLeod Ganj while remaining a pleasant walk away. Local legend links the Bhagsunag Temple to a duel between King Bhagsu and the serpent god Nag Devta; the site is considered ancient, though the present temple structure is far more recent. A short hike upstream leads to the Bhagsu Waterfall, especially impressive during monsoon. The village has a growing number of cafes, yoga shalas, and guesthouses that cater to long-stay travellers.
