Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort
Dharamkot (forest belt below the village)

About Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort
The Hyatt Regency is the area's largest luxury option, set in a forested pocket of Dharamkot at roughly 2,000 metres. Around 80 keys are spread across rooms, club rooms, a few suites and private villas, many of them looking out over deodar slopes towards the Kangra Valley.
Facilities are what you would expect from an international brand: a multi-cuisine restaurant that features Tibetan and Himachali dishes alongside global food, a bar, the Shanti spa, a meditation space and a heated pool that guests often mention as a highlight in the cooler months. Service is generally praised, though some reviewers feel prices are steep for what they get. It is best for couples on a special trip, families wanting resort comforts, and travellers who prefer a self-contained base and are happy to take a taxi into McLeod Ganj or to trailheads. It is not a place to walk out of into cafe lanes, so factor in short drives.
