Mustard House is a true homestay rather than a guesthouse: the host lives on site, cooks for guests and is happy to help plan days out. There are just five bright rooms, so the house rarely feels busy, and guests often end up sharing tips and meals with one another.

It is tucked away in a quieter pocket of Dharamkot off the road towards Bhagsunag, close to an Ayurveda centre and within walking distance of the village's cafes. Breakfast is included, and recent guests speak warmly of the home-cooked food and of the host's small homemade pickle venture. Yoga sessions and bicycle hire are offered, and there is free parking, which is helpful in an area where cars often cannot get close. It is well suited to solo travellers, women travelling alone and families who prefer a home environment over a hotel. The Bhagsu waterfall and the Triund trail are both reachable on foot.
